If you don’t have the time, then a scheduled or self-paced program will work much better. It’s good to train to be a transcriptionist because it shows your clients that you are well-educated in your career field of choice. You will also have a higher likelihood of receiving more clients who are willing to pay much more for your services.

After training for transcriptionist jobs, all you need to do is write down what types of specialties you would prefer. If you do not care, then make a list of potential doctor’s offices and hospitals you would like to try. Create your resume and take it to the doctors you prefer the most at first, wait a couple of weeks, and then if you don’t hear anything at all, try more doctors.
